Why we built Hikayya
Hikayya started from a simple idea: a physical book should not sit unread on a shelf when someone else would love to read it. We give every book a digital passport, a QR code that tracks where it has been and who has read it, so one copy can travel between readers instead of collecting dust.
We are currently piloting in Morocco, building carefully with our first community of readers, students, and donors.
